DISCO DRINKING If you find yourself in Discovery Bay at night, you could do worse than get yourself along to Hemingway’s, a Caribbean-themed bar and restaurant situated at the end of the DB plaza, beside the beach. With tables on a deck overlooking the water and prime views of the nightly 8pm fireworks from Disneyland, it makes for a romantic, but casual, spot for couples. Aside from a respectable food menu, an extensive wine list, cocktails prepared by mixologists, and a ‘wall of rum’ ensure that unrespectable behaviour is also adequately catered for.
