PASSIONATE BAKER If you’ve ever tasted the artwork-esque sweet concoctions from Coco cake shop at The Mira hotel, you’ll be glad to know that the man behind it all – pastry chef Thomas Lui – has just opened up his own patisserie. Thomas Trillion bakes the same sort of art deco cakes that Coco was famous for. Must-eats include the dome-shaped “Apple Mint” mousse cake and the pink n’ pretty “Raspberry Dome” fruit tart. Cakes for two: $80.
